Today is the last day of the 30-day challenge, and the day before my last workout before my drop week. When I started this program I didn't think I would do the drop weeks. I was like, "maybe I'll just keep going during that week. I won't need it." Well, I definitely need it. During the past couple weeks I've noticed that I've been taking longer to recover, I've been getting stiffer and just progressively run down. I can definitely now see the wisdom of taking a break to let your body reset, recharge and heal. My upper back between my shoulder blades and my shoulders were getting especially sore. Fortunately I was able to get some cupping done earlier this week, which helped a lot. Cupping uses glass or plastic cups and either a flame or a suction gun to create a vacuum and suck the cups to the skin. It's really, really great at relaxing tight muscles. Also, sometimes it leaves marks.
I lost a total of 0% of my starting weight.

We didn't happen to do before and after measurements. Tyler's picture is the cupping marks.
